Portrait Photography Workshop

Portrait photography is always original and interesting because it is, at its best, about the relationship between the photographer and the subject. By definition, that interaction is unique. Portraits of people are often our most meaningful pictures. Capturing a person's likeness in a way that says something about them (and about you) is fulfilling and challenging. This workshop will enhance your ability to create more evocative and expressive images of real people.

We cover:

Interaction with your subject
Composition
Background selection
Focal lengths.
How to see, find and control available light and use basic flash.

Our subjects will be fellow students and anyone else that happens to be around, and we will shoot at various locations, both inside and outside.
