The rock you see in this image is the side of a small cliff at Point Reyes in California.  It is about 6 feet (2 meters) from the top of this image to the bottom.  The sun was low in the sky behind me and the trees were casting shadows in interesting ways on the rocks.

This was taken with a Nikkor 50/2 on Fuji Velvia film.
